Getting to know her:

What is your favorite book of all time?
There are so many books that have influenced my life over the years. I used to hang out in the library alot because I was raised by a single working Mom who wasn't home till 6:30 PM. I liked roaming down the biography section because I found it inspiring. But, there is this one little children's book with grown up wisdom that melted my heart. It's called "Love," illustrated and designed by Vanni and written by Lowell A. Siff. I don't think anyone can get to the end without a sigh. I won't spoil it for you by telling you the ending, but it's a simple story about a little girl whose parents went away when she was nine. She had no relatives to care for her and she was taken to an orphanage, where nobody liked her. I'm not going to tell you anymore :)

Where have you enjoyed visiting the most?

I'm so nostalgic that I'd have to say Brooklyn. It's where I grew up and where my happiest memories were made. The aroma of the neighborhood pizzeria, chocolate egg creams and jumping rope on the sidewalk, my little paradise!

If you had an extra million dollars, what would you do with it?
Honestly, get out of debt so I could add years to my husband's life.

Who would you like to have dinner with and where?
My Mother. To be able to talk to her, feel her strength and hear her wise words in The Palms Restaurant (she loved lobster).

Where would you love your next vacation to be?
Easy, Bhutan. I want to be in a country where they make "happiness," their priority. It looks like a piece of heaven that has fallen to Earth.

Favorite color and why?
All the colors in a Monet painting. Every single one of them.
